This used to be the main thing I listened to when I was just waking up or heading to sleep. There’s a very warm, soft energy that radiates from every edge of this album, accentuated by the mastering decisions that leave every singe note feeling as if they are individually frail. Rather than evoking a negative, moody emotional state through this as the title might imply, the cover’s much more accurate. “seasonal depression” works best as an aid to tide them back, made to prop you up.
